The Fourth World Professional Forum «Crimea-2018» will be traditionally held in Sudak, an ancient town on the Crimean south-eastern coast. It is a climatic sea resort which main industry is wine-making.
The Forum main site is “Sudak” Tourist and Health Center, the town’s largest recreation facility set in a park on the Black Sea shore, in a picturesque bay beneath the majestic Sudak castle of the 14th-15th centuries.

International Conference on global ecological problems to coincide with the 155-th anniversary of Vladimir I. Vernadsky

Developing and promoting V. Vernadsky’s ideas to modern society
Globalization and informatization are essential processes of modern ecological education
Building environmental awareness of young adults in the light of global ecological problems
Building public spaces within the context of sustainable development goals
Also, the Third Industry Conference “Book publishing and libraries: Routes of cooperation” and the Third General Conference of “Libraries of the Future” National Library Association will take place, along with several annual conferences and sessions of library, information and other professional associations. The list of sections, round tables and side events will be continuously updated until finalized by the Forum Program Committee in April, 2018.
Call for papers
The Organizing Committee seeks original research and application-oriented papers, not previously presented elsewhere, which make new contribution to the above topics and correspond to the requirements below.
Please follow the guidelines to prepare and submit your paper:
1. The heading shall include the paper title, followed by the full names and affiliations of the author(s) and the person to present the paper; city and country.
2. The abstract should be a precis of your paper. The abstract shall not exceed 700 characters (including spaces).
3. The paper shall be in digital form. Full text shall be submitted in Word for Windows or ASCII format, charts, photos and screenshots in JPG. The paper (including abstract, pictures, appendices, etc.) shall not exceed 10 A4 pages.
4. Papers should be sent to your regional coordinator (please see contact information below). Deadline is May 16, 2018.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject papers not corresponding to these guidelines.
The Conference proceedings will be published on CD-ROM and as open access web-publications available through the Russian Index of Scientific Citation “RINTs”.
The Program Committee has an exclusive right to make final decision on paper status: keynote paper, paper, communication, or poster, and to include it in an appropriate section or to decline it.
Time for presentation: Keynote papers — up to 20-25 minutes. Section and workshop papers — up to 15-20 minutes. Communications — up to 10 minutes.
Papers are published in the Conference Proceedings only if approved by the Program Committee Expert Group and provided that the registration fee has been paid (written guarantees will not be taken into consideration).
FORUM LANGUAGES: RUSSIAN, ENGLISH.
Simultaneous or consecutive interpretation will be provided.
Exhibition
Libraries, associations, publishers, universities, companies can take the opportunity to present their products and services at the “Crimea-2018” Exhibition.
Exhibition fee (stand rental) covers a desk, 2 chairs, partitions, header with company’s name and a power socket:
2m х 2m (standard) – 400 USD 4m х 2m (extended) – 800 USD
Computers, other equipment and furniture rental is available on a preliminary request at additional charge. Exhibitors may organize special presentations of their products and services upon preliminary communication with the Organizing Committee.
Participation terms
Forum registration fee is $300 for a full participant and $150 for an accompanying person. Please note that a registered participant may be accompanied by up to 2 persons.
The registration fee for a full participant covers:
– Participation in the Forum professional program including access to the Exhibition
– A bag with Forum proceedings on CD-ROM, and information materials
– Forum participant’s badge
– Participation in the Forum opening and closing ceremonies and receptions
– Transfer from Simferopol Airport to Sudak and back on the dates of arrival (June 16, 17) and departure
(June 23, 24)
– One-day tour (to be offered in late May via the Forum web-site) and other social and cultural events.
You are kindly requested to register online no later than May 10, 2018, as well as to pay the registration and accommodation fees. Please note that after the above date, the Organizing Committee will be unable to guarantee that the requested room category is available for your booking.
Accommodation fee (three meals a day included (FB)) is fixed, depends on the room category and covers the whole stay from noon June 16 through noon June 24, 2018, irrespective of the actual dates of arrival and departure within this period.

Registration and accommodation fees include VAT.
Payment shall be made only against the invoice issued by the Organization Committee.
PLEASE NOTE: The registration and accommodation fees are not refundable after May 16, 2018
Children are permitted to accompany parents participating in the Forum. Please note though that children of the age of 14 and under are not admitted into Forum auditoria and the exhibition area if unattended by their parents.
