Agenda:

  2. Current affairs, miscellaneous.

Evgeny Kuzmin, Ekaterina Genieva, Yakov Shrayberg presided over the meeting.

Yakov Shrayberg pointed out that to date the Program Committee has received many oral proposals, but only five written ones. As a result, it were the written proposals that were disussed first of all (see Appendix).

Evgeny Kuzmin presented activity applications.

All the applications were approved of. However, the Program Committee edited the name of the round table proposed by the Russian State Library for Young Adults: “Sink or swim?! – Library HR youth policy: today and tomorrow”. It was decided to leave only its second part: “Library HR youth policy: today and tomorrow”.

Ekaterina Genieva spoke about the activities of M.I. Rudomino All-Russia State Library for Foreign Literature, planned for the “Crimea-2010” Conference. Above all, it was underlined that an event dedicated to the 65-th Anniversary of the Great Patriotic War Victory should take place within the forum framework.

To preserve the tradition of holding evenings with modern writers, Ekaterina Genieva proposed to invite Margarita Khemlin, “Big Book-2009” literary award finalist.
